General Check-In
Please arrive at your designated check-in point 15 minutes before your scheduled departure. Running late? Give us a call at 0800 786 247, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Luggage Allowance
Each passenger is permitted up to 15kg of luggage, which may be spread across multiple bags. Any additional luggage is subject to payload limits, with a fee of $7 per kg, payable before boarding.
Special Assistance
If you have mobility needs, please inform us when booking so we can ensure your comfort and safety during boarding and disembarking. For assistance, call us at 0800 786 247.
Check-In Locations
Ardmore (Auckland)
Our check-in is located within the Auckland Aero Club at Ardmore Airport, about 30 minutes from Auckland city center. Allow extra time for Auckland traffic.

Gisborne
Enter the main terminal, turn right, and proceed to the far end where the Gisborne district map is displayed. Your pilot will meet you there.

Great Barrier Island
Check-in is at Claris Airport at the former Fly My Sky counter. The pilot will personally check you in.

Hamilton
Check-in at the Sunair Aviation desk within the main terminal. Look for the illuminated Sunair Aviation sign. If you don’t see your pilot right away, they may be completing a previous flight.

Napier
Check in at the Sunair desk near the Air NZ counter in the main terminal. Your pilot will meet you there.

Tauranga
Our terminal is located to the left of the main Tauranga Airport terminal, marked by a large "SUNAIR" sign. Access is via the long-term car park.

Wairoa
Gather at the eastern end of the Wairoa Aeroclub building. The pilot will meet you there or wait in your car until the Sunair aircraft arrives.

Whangarei
Check-in at the Sunair Terminal next to the Whangarei Airport Carpark. Free parking is available outside the terminal.

Whitianga
Wait in front of the Mercury Bay Aero Club near the runway fence. The pilot will meet you at check-in time.
