Parking
Conveniently located just meters from the terminal, Gisborne Airport offers a variety of parking options. The first 20 minutes are free, with paid secure parking available for longer stays. Parking spaces cannot be pre-booked.

Taxis and Car Hire
Car hire is available right inside the terminal, and taxis are accessible just outside. You can also pre-book a taxi to ensure a smooth transition from airport to destination.

Amenities
Enjoy a range of amenities, including the Darton Field Café and Bar, offering local food, coffee, wines, and beers. For families, there’s a dedicated baby care area near the bathrooms and a bike assembly station at the terminal's western end for cyclists.

Check-In
Arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. Upon entering the terminal, turn right and proceed to the far end by the Gisborne district map. Your pilot will meet you there. If not immediately present, they may be finishing up with a previous flight but will be with you shortly.

Passenger Assistance
Gisborne Airport staff are trained in first aid, and wheelchair assistance is available on request. Contact your airline ahead of time if you need special assistance during your travels.
